IG Heavy Duty Steel Cavity Wall Lintel 2700mm x 194mm – L1/HD WIL 75

The IG L1/HD WIL 75 lintel is designed for heavy-duty load applications, supporting wide inner leaf cavity wall construction. It is intended for cavity widths of 70-85mm, ensuring optimal load distribution. The inner leaf block must not overhang the lintel flange by more than 25mm, and blockwork should be built tight against the lintel’s inner face. For proper load distribution, a mortar bed must be placed on top of the blockwork before floor units are laid. Propping the lintel is recommended to speed up the construction process.
