The Birtley CB70HD is a standard/medium-duty steel cavity wall lintel designed for applications with a cavity size of 70-85mm, and both the inner and outer leaf at 100mm thick. This lintel is not suitable for point loads or concrete floors , but offers robust support for standard masonry construction with long-lasting corrosion protection due to its Supergalv coating. Key Features: Application: Designed for cavity walls with a cavity size of 70-85mm, and both inner and outer leaves measuring 100mm. Supergalv Coating: Post-fabrication hot-dip galvanizing provides up to 50% more zinc protection than conventional methods, ensuring extended durability. Material: Made from Mild Steel S275JR according to BS EN10025-2:2004 for structural integrity. Fire Rating: Provides 60 minutes of fire resistance when finished with a two-coat plaster system.
